How does the safe-zone alert work?
On set-up, our team helps create a simple “home circle”. If your loved one walks past that line, the alarm sends their location to our UK monitoring centre. We call you right away and keep talking to them until you arrive.
Can I change the safe zone later?
Yes. Phone us and we’ll adjust the circle in minutes, handy if they move house or start a new walking route.
What if they wander but forget to press the button?
The GPS alarm checks position automatically. Crossing the safe zone triggers an alert even if no button is pressed.
How accurate is the location?
In most UK towns the GPS pin is accurate to about ten metres, enough to guide you or a neighbour to the exact doorway or garden.
What happens if there is no mobile signal?
The alarm stores the last known location and keeps searching for a signal.
Does it work at night or indoors?
Yes. The device vibrates and shows a clear message, and our team calls you just the same. Indoor GPS accuracy can vary, but we give the best possible street reference or last outdoor fix.
How long does the battery last?
The Pendant battery lasts 2-3 days and the watch lasts 24 hours. We recommend daily charging; the device shows a low-battery warning and we’ll call if it falls below 20%
Do I need Wi-Fi or a landline?
No. The alarm has its own SIM and works anywhere in the UK with mobile coverage.
Will someone come if no one answers the call?
If we cannot speak to them, we follow the emergency plan you set: first we ring you and other contacts; if no one is available, we call the emergency services and provide location details.
