Does the pendant work outside my home?
Yes. The GPS pendant works on the mobile network rather than a home landline, so you can use it at home, in the garden and when you’re out and about, wherever there’s compatible mobile signal. Like any mobile device, it can’t connect where there’s no signal at all.
Can I wear it in the shower?
Yes. The pendant is shower-safe, so you can keep it on in the bathroom, which is one of the most common places for slips and falls.
Who answers when I press the button?
Our 24/7 monitoring team. You speak to them directly through the pendant’s built-in speaker and microphone. They’ll talk to you, find out what’s wrong and help arrange the right support, such as contacting a family member, neighbour or the emergency services.
How does the GPS location work?
When you call for help, the pendant can share its location with our monitoring team so they can see where you are. Accuracy depends on GPS and mobile signal, and is usually best outdoors.
What happens after my 14-day trial?
You decide. If the pendant is right for you, choose monthly or annual monitoring. If it isn’t, you don’t have to join. If you’re unsure, call us on 01273 055049 and we’ll talk you through your options.
How much will I pay if I continue?
Monthly monitoring is £30 a month. Annual monitoring is £300 a year, which works out at £25 a month and saves £60 compared with paying monthly for 12 months. There’s also a one-off £49.99 setup fee when you join.
Is there a setup fee?
Yes, a one-off setup fee of £49.99 when you join a monitoring plan. The only cost to start your 14-day trial is £4.25 postage.
What happens if I decide not to join?
That’s absolutely fine, and there’s no obligation to continue. Just give us a call on 01273 055049 and we’ll explain the next steps.
How does the 60-day money-back guarantee work?
Once you join a monitoring plan, you’re covered by our 60-day money-back guarantee. If you’re not happy within 60 days, contact us and we’ll explain how to claim your refund. The guarantee is subject to our terms and conditions.
